Matt Powers is the founder of MTP Advisors, a technology firm that helps senior management accelerate their growth, improve overall capabilities, and most importantly win.

Before devoting his work full time to MTP Advisors Matt served at the VP of Engineering at WayUp, the #1 platform for early career hiring.  Prior to WayUp he was the CTO of Applico, a mobile consulting and platform innovation company based in New York.  Throughout his career Matt has led and participated in a number of different initiatives pertaining to:

• Scaling infrastructure
• Data extraction, management, warehousing, reporting and dashboarding
• Improving analytics capabilities and implementing ETL pipelines
• Enabling and freeing teams(Marketing, Product, Customer Service) from engineering bottlenecks and implemented self service, cross department capabilities
• Implementation of technical hiring best practices and employee OKRs
• Agile team transformation

Matt is an active member of the startup community and advisor to a number of clients in the Mobile and Machine Learning space. 

In addition to consulting Matt loves to mentor students, having participated in the Fairfield StartUp showcase the last 5 years.
